Here's a quick list to give you an idea on who I am:

  • A thinker, an analyzer, a self-proclaimed movie critic, a level 37 Pokémon Go player.

  • A frequent daydreamer, a gamer, a writer (have you tried worldbuilding? IT’S SO HARD).

  • A library-goer who mainly (only) reads in the manga/comic book section.

  • A person who says that coffee makes them anxious, but drinks it anyway for the taste.

I was born in NYC and raised in NJ. I’m 100% ABC (American-Born Chinese) and Cantonese, even though I can’t speak it for the life of me. I’m what you’d call a 竹升 (‘jook-sing’; basically translated to ‘Hollow Bamboo’).Speaking of language, I currently have a 268 day streak in Duolingo for Japanese. Sometimes my parents joke that I might actually be Japanese and was adopted, but I think they’re just salty that they didn’t teach me more Chinese growing up.People have described me as a creative, honest, and compassionate person. I love listening to others and hearing their life stories, and the fact that my life has become woven into theirs means that I now get to be a part of their story, which is truly an honor.And that’s really what voice acting is for me: Being a part of people’s stories and telling them as authentically as possible. Because everyone’s story (yes, even yours!) is interesting and compelling, if told justly. With that being said, come on! Your story's waiting to be told, so ‘Lem’me hear it.
